Aurora
Aurora Aksnes is born 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. Popularly referred to as Aurora and often stylized with lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the record label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from musicians and music blogs as well as the press. She has recorded several high-profile cover songs, like Half the World Away (by the group Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) and have been widely praised. Katy Perry's support for her song Runaway in a blog entry added to the musician's praise. It was her birthday celebration. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is the discovery of a piano in her attic and becoming fascinated by the sound it could make.
